The first two groups (of four this year) have commenced their mentor training courses in the Virtual Mill.
Not only are they learning more about how to use the virtual mill's facilities but they are growing in their understanding of different learning styles, so making them better mentors to the benefit of themselves, their students and their employers.
The use of the virtual mill to run these courses is a great example of how this technology can be utilised far beyond taking a virtual walk round a mill. The participants in the training have varied levels of experience both of mentoring and of the virtual mill.
Feedback so far has been positive across the board.
