nabim is pushing for changes to a proposed two-year extension to the climate change agreement schemes (CCAs). The extension, which has been proposed by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, provides an opportunity for businesses to apply for CCAs if they did not already have one.
However, nabim, together with FDF and other industry associations in the food and drink sector, believes the changes should also account for disruption to applications caused by Covid-19.
The organisation is also supporting a proposal that helps businesses with longer-term energy-saving measures to demonstrate an improvement in energy efficiency and thereby qualify for the levy.
