As you know, nabim recently changed its name to UK Flour Millers.
After almost 150 years it was a big step, but we’re pleased to report the rebrand has been well received by both stakeholders and members.
Part of the rationale behind the name change was to increase the visibility of the flour milling industry and therefore we chose to reference the industry in our name. But the association still represents flour millers from all parts of Great Britain and Ireland
Feedback on the name change has been positive with a number of stakeholders keen to find out more about our process and decision making, which we feel is very positive endorsement.
Further to this, we had enquiries from the national press following our e-mail campaign, and achieved 10 pieces of coverage.
