Sponsors

Our current sponsors include Forth Ports for our gala dinner and Omas for our welcome reception.

Forth Ports: Forth Ports is a leading UK port operator with major operations across England and Scotland, playing a key role in the nation’s grain and milling supply chain.

Tilbury: One of the UK’s largest grain terminals, Tilbury, with its prime location close to London, handles over two million tonnes of wheat, barley and beans annually. It features automated grain handling and supports both import and export activities. On-site flour mills operated by ADM Milling and Allied Mills enable efficient grain processing. Following a major rebuild after a 2020 fire, capacity was restored to 135,000 tonnes with new silos and further investment ongoing to replace the ship unloaders and upgrade the transfer systems.

Leith: Scotland’s largest enclosed deep-water port handles grain and animal feed, supporting food and agriculture sectors. ADM runs a major facility here, serving markets across Scotland and northern England.

Dundee: On the Firth of Tay, Dundee hosts one of the UK’s largest grain drying facilities, processing over 250,000 tonnes of produce annually. Its advanced infrastructure includes silos, conveyors and extensive warehousing for efficient handling and storage.

Kirkcaldy: Central to Scotland’s milling industry, over one million tonnes of wheat have been delivered here since 2011. Grain is discharged directly into Carr’s Flour Mill, cutting road traffic and emissions. A monthly coastal shipping service links Tilbury to Kirkcaldy for milling operations.

Rosyth: Scotland’s premier agri-hub, Rosyth has seen major investment. It handles over 250,000 tonnes of bulk and packaged agricultural cargo, supported by deep-water berths, warehousing, laydown space and heavy-lift capacity.

Together, these ports reflect Forth Ports’ commitment to the UK’s grain and milling sectors through strategic investment and efficient logistics.
