The 2022 Milling Wheat Conference will be held on March 1 at the Marriot Hotel, Huntingdon.
The event will be a hybrid, with the option of attending in person or joining remotely. There will be a mix of technical and policy updates, as well as the presentation of the YEN Wheat Quality Awards.
This year there will be a particular focus on nitrogen and the impact of the rise in fertiliser prices on milling wheat agronomy. There will also be a miller presentation covering the protein specification, why it exists and what the future of the protein specification will be, considering environmental pressures and changes to nitrogen fertiliser regulation.
